
JRS-Pathfinder is an integrated program linking market-informed career counselling, professional or vocational education and training, life skills coaching, and job placement. It targets people living in or affected by displacement who may or may not have completed secondary education. Pathfinder improves participants and their families’ quality of life by increasing meaningful employment, small enterprise development or pathways to further study. It varies according to the context, but typically offers courses in teacher training, management and entrepreneurship, various ICT skills, and language, in partnership with universities, institutes of higher education and vocational training, and industry. In 2021 it expects to reach 1790 participants in four countries.
