Our mission is to empower and build capacities and create space for communication, dialogue, and cultural exchange for youth.
The Syrian Youth Assembly started in 2016 with a clear mission, which is to empower and support Syrian youth and refugees around the world through the use of digital solutions that helped us reach thousands of young people around the world and also enable peacebuilding and dialogue and cultural exchange which can be accomplished through obtaining inner peace firstly by providing and securing their basic needs in terms of education, work, and various opportunities capable of empowering and building capabilities of youth.
We have worked within our educational programs to provide various educational services that respond directly to the needs of young men and women and provide necessary skills that help them enter the labor market and find the appropriate skills for them. We are also working to involve Syrian youth in the Syrian peace process and ensure their right to their voices to the peace process that takes place under the auspices of the United Nations in Geneva, and from this aspect, we also offer various training and programs related to peacebuilding from consultations and training courses.
The Syrian Youth Assembly works from Germany Berlin, we support Syrian youth around the world and in Syria through educational opportunities and programs in cooperation with partners from higher education institutions in Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, and Turkey. The Syrian Youth Assembly is accredited by the International Youth Federation and a member of the United Nations Major Group for Children and Youth.
