JESUIT WORLDWIDE LEARNING
Dorine lives in Kakuma Refugee Camp. She graduated from JWL‘s Diploma in Liberal Studies programme with a major in social work in 2019. Since then, she’s worked as a community caseworker focusing on sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV). Community members feel her Diploma studies supported her in developing qualities and skills that have made a difference to those around her. She’s a role model for women and men alike, promoting the empowerment and wellbeing of all, raising awareness about SGBV, and helping those affected access the resources and support they need.
