The MIT Refugee Action Hub (ReACT) is looking for organizations to join our robust network of corporate and organizational partners through our 2021 Internship Program for talented refugee and internally displaced learners. This unique and highly selective MIT educational initiative equips our global cohort with the knowledge, skills, and connections critical to success in the global workforce. ReACT learners are computational thinkers, entrepreneurial and innovative, and trained in remote work capabilities.
We are currently recruiting internship hosts across a range of industries and fields, including humanitarian, tech, and education, where our learners can gain practical experience, refine their skills and grow their professional networks.
Through our internship program, MIT ReACT learners consolidate what they have learned while making valuable contributions to internship host companies. This commitment involves:
- Internship duration for 3-6 months with an average of 20 hours each week
- Flexible internship cycles (May – September 2021)
- Remote or in-person positions
- Dedicated supervisor to ensure quality and successful internship
- Compensating learners at the prevailing corporate or local internship rate
